Banks had to learn by making her own mistakes, and while she knows this is the case for all blooming entrepreneurs, she wants to reduce the opportunities for mishaps as much as possible for the ladies who follow in her footsteps.
“The idea of community is drilled into my brain,” said Banks. “We have to always be ready to bring more people to the table of success, offer them seats, and help them grow.”
Banks is a champion for anyone, even beyond BIPOC women, who never got a head start in life. Her goal is to further the growth of people who want to be their own bosses, who have something beautiful to share with the world.

“I wanted to uplift minority women, and anyone else, who do not have access to many resources,” said Banks. “It was important for me to educate myself in this sector so I could find my own success and share it with others. My mom was always my biggest champion even though we didn’t have much. I want to pay that love and support forward.”
Banks calls her students the ‘Pink Print Posse’, with community values at the heart of it all. With each new person joining the squad, Banks hopes that her advice can spread its roots farther than she could ever reach.
“The more women who tell each other about my courses and advice, the better,” she said. “The information I have to share is invaluable, and it benefits all of us when more people know it.”
