That moment sparked a mission: to help others reconnect with the voices and memories of their loved ones through technology. Memorygram makes that possible.
This is what drove childhood friends Paul Damiano and Larry Scharra to create Memorygram. Memorygram brings this vision to life through two core products: the Legacy Book and the Memorial Medallion. The Legacy Book is a service that helps individuals write their memoirs through question prompts and turns them into a beautiful hardcover book. It captures both written stories and audio recordings, preserving a rich archive of voice, personality, and life experience. These recordings also become the foundation for the Memorial Medallion, a physical aluminum heart placed on a headstone or indoor memorial. When scanned with a phone, the medallion allows visitors to interact with the memory of the person by speaking with their voice or writing a story.

The Memorygram Legacy Book is a beautifully bound, hardcover coffee table book created to help you easily capture and preserve your life’s most meaningful stories. You’ll be asked questions to inspire memories about your family, childhood, relationships, and special experiences. You can answer these questions by speaking directly into your phone, typing your stories, or a combination of both. You can enrich every story by uploading cherished photos.
Memorygram then transcribes your spoken stories and professionally organizes them into your personal memoir, preserving your natural storytelling voice. Best of all, your finished Legacy Book includes a special QR code. Family and friends can scan this code with their smartphone to hear your actual voice sharing your stories, bringing your memories vividly to life.
The Legacy Book also allows multiple people such as couples, siblings, or close friends to collaborate on one shared book. It’s a beautiful and meaningful way to honor family bonds and pass down cherished memories for generations.
The Memorial Medallion: A Digital Window to a Life Well-Lived

When scanned, the QR code on the medallion opens a dedicated Virtual Memorial page. Here, friends and family can view photos, videos, leave their own memories, and listen to the audio recordings from the Legacy Book.
Pushing the boundaries of innovation, the Medallion also features cutting-edge AI voice cloning. Families provide a clear voice sample, either taken from the Legacy Book recordings or supplied as a standalone audio clip. Memorygram uses this audio to recreate the loved one’s voice. The process is further enhanced through personality tuning, where families can enter details about the deceased or upload their Legacy Book content. This allows for a realistic posthumous conversational experience, offering a new and profound way to interact with and remember a loved one’s personality and stories.
