Anne Smith is paving the way for wrongfully convicted and wrongfully committed victims of the US legal system

Characteristics of determination and conviction in themselves is something that many people realize is important, but many of them do not achieve ever in their lives. This affects millions of people across the world.

Anne Smith was one of those people. Being railroaded by the US legal system on two separate occasions, her life has been a rollercoaster of emotions and ups and downs for the last 7 years. She has faced adversity after adversity, and while this would break most people, she has not lost all hope just yet.

Instead, she has made a promise to herself to take back what is rightfully hers. Her journey caused her to start the Facebook group Iron Sharpens Iron Council, which unites people with the same ideas and interests into one community in which they can discuss legal advocacy.

The result of this is a whole community of determined people who can communicate freely with one another. One of the cases mentioned above involves her daughter, who Anne believes was wrongfully convicted by the US legal system. She hopes to use her platform as a base to spread the message of injustice within the US legal system. What she wants is something that many want for their loved ones affected by injustice, to clear their names.

Through her Instagram page, Anne is raising money from donators to fund “CLEAR HER NAME”, a book and docuseries raising awareness about her daughter’s situation.

Anne’s effort is something to be admired in the face of adversity, and she is an inspiration to all those who are looking to achieve self-determination and confidence in their step, as well as those who have been directly affected by miscarriages of justice in the US legal system, or whose family and friends have been affected.

“When people who love peace become as organized as people who love war, change can happen. It’s my vision to grow Mission Possible Workshop into a strong community with people who will work together for peace and truth-in-justice.” – Anne Smith
