“Act Now for the Future.” Mari Budnik-Khruleva on Her New Project

It is a great pleasure and honor for our publication to welcome Mari today. Most recently, Mari introduced her new organization, world111, and is ready to share more about her exciting venture. This is not the first time that the young entrepreneur, human rights activist, and United Nations ambassador has worked on a large-scale project for a global audience.

Mari, thank you very much for joining us today. Can you tell us how the idea for your new organization came about?

  • I am glad to be here, and thank you for the invitation. The idea of world111 appeared a long time ago and was in development for about a year. It came about for a reason. At a regular diplomatic conference, I met a wonderful man, and we discussed one of today’s pressing issues — the inability to change our lives for the better on our own. That conversation made me realize how important it is to unite. My idea was to bring together leaders from around the world to start helping minorities and those in need. That’s how my team and I began this journey.

You mentioned that your organization’s goal is to unite leaders from around the globe. Can you share more about what world111 offers?

  • world111 is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in California, USA. As I mentioned, we provide a platform for rising voices, addressing important issues, activism, and helping others. We organize online events, as well as in-person conferences held in different countries. We invite renowned speakers, field experts, university professors, politicians, and public figures to our events for an extensive exchange of experience and cultural dialogue. We also collaborate with major international organizations, volunteer programs, and career platforms.

What impact do you hope your events will have on society?

  • Our goal is to help people find the opportunities they need to achieve their goals. This will be a starting point for personal development and assisting others. In my view, self-improvement is the most crucial thing. If a person grows spiritually, they can contribute to making the world a better place and tackling global challenges. Today’s world needs new voices — voices ready to fight for human rights, freedom of choice, environmental sustainability, and everything that surrounds us. We must strive for a bright future and take steps to improve our lives. I want everyone to realize they are not bound by societal clichés; everyone has the freedom to choose how to live, look, dress, and love.

Your vision is truly inspiring, especially for young people. What books would you recommend to teenagers who are starting on this path of self-discovery and activism?

  • I’d be happy to share. From childhood, I have always loved The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Another book I find impactful is The Waters of the World: How the Mysteries of the Oceans, Atmosphere, Glaciers, and Climate of Our Planet Were Solved by Sarah Dry. These books can inspire and expand one’s understanding of the world.

What qualities do you value most in people?

  • Each person has their own unique traits, and that’s what makes us different and special. For me, the qualities I appreciate most are kindness, openness, sociability, and depth.

Finally, what is your perspective on friendship?

  • Friendship holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been fortunate to meet incredible people throughout my life, and I cherish them dearly. My friends are talented individuals, and we often collaborate. It feels like we’re all part of the same field, even though we met under different circumstances. I truly hope that everyone finds the right people along their journey because friendship is so important.

Mari, thank you for your time and for sharing your insights. We are certain that your words will resonate with many.
