Hummus Fit Announces Dual Outlets in Myrtle Beach

With the world spinning faster each day, people have placed an increasing importance on the value of their time. The balancing act of head-spinning pursuits of professional achievements and the cherished hours spent with friends and family has proven to be quite a challenge in the modern era, but as the tides shift, individuals have started to seek more efficient (and healthy) solutions for a better lifestyle.

These shifting tides have, as a result, given more prominence to meal preparation services, which have successfully satisfied the void between yearning for flavorful but nutritious meals for the demographic that often lacks time to shop and cook.

With its groundbreaking take on meal preparation, Hummus Fit—a family-owned business that offers fresh and healthy meals—seems to have mastered the fusion of convenience, health-consciousness and delectable flavors.

“Food should be a journey, a source of happiness, a moment to sit down and explore what entices your taste buds, in addition, of course, to keeping us healthy,” Tony Mavruk, the company’s founder, says. “Our mission is to make every plate a unique exploration, and a reflection of our customers’ needs for health and convenience.”

From lactose intolerance to gluten sensitivity, from kosher to keto diets—Hummus Fit meticulously caters to everyone’s culinary needs and desires. Taking great pride in their work, the company’s team has placed special emphasis on top-notch, health-conscious ingredients that make up the impressive lineup of 150 different meals.

Most importantly, as Mavruk highlights, the company steers clear of any sort of additives or preservatives, prioritizing health with each meal. “We offer fresh meals that are never frozen. To do that, we’ve opted for vacuum sealing. It’s expensive, and only a few other companies use it, but I believe it’s the future step of meal prep services,” Mavruk explains.

Although the primary operations happen in New York, an intriguing point about Hummus Fit is that they operate from multiple locations. What started as a Mediterranean restaurant shifted into a burgeoning service, branching out to several areas, each carrying out their designated part of the work.

On top of its Holbrook, New York location, the company also operates in Ronkonkoma, Lynbrook, Lindenhurst, Deer Park, Selden, Lynbrook, Brookfield Connecticut and Woodbury, its first Nassau County added to the roster in late 2022.

And now, in collaboration with Foundation Nutrition owners, such as the renowned Anthony Bisignano, Hummus Fit has geared up for another significant milestone in its journey – two cutting-edge outlets in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

The curtain rises on the first locale on Saturday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Located at 8703 Highway 17 Bypass South, the store will surely be more than just a spot for picking up a quick meal. Mavruk reveals the aim is to serve as a hub for wellness, with hopes of drawing both locals and tourists alike.

The weekend excitement doesn’t end there but continues on December 3 when the spotlight shifts to the North Myrtle Beach location at 3608 Highway 17 S.

On opening days, visitors will be greeted with an energetic atmosphere, with over 20 Hummus Fit athletes attending the occasion, engaging visitors with conversations about health, wellness, and adopting a more balanced lifestyle.

“Patrons will also be able to try some of our snacks, protein shakes, as well as smoothies, to get a taste of our offer,” Mavruk says. “We’re also planning to feature an apparel giveaway, meal prep discounts, and a meet and greet opportunity with the athletes.”

While these grand openings are certainly going to leave a delicious mark, there’s a hint on what’s next on the horizon. The visionaries behind Hummus Fit and Foundation Nutrition have laid the groundwork for an express location in Surfice Beach, inside the “Sky Fitness 24/7” gym, planned for early 2024.

As Mavruk says, “Every new location is a reflection of our commitment, not just to growth, but to deepening our connection with communities and providing healthy and nutritious meals for all.”
