New York City — Famous photographer Haruehun Airry travels across the globe despite the pandemic in a wish to ‘inspire’.
Any form of love should be accepted and promoted. Though, queer art creators are on edge after the arrest of the popular influencer ‘Titus Low’ in Singapore for posting his nude pictures. Some netizens believe that it is as a result of his coming out as bisexual. Thus his expressions are a little bit ‘too much.’
Originally from Thailand, ‘Haruehun Airry’ is a professional photographer whose work has been featured in the local edition of famous international publications for men such as ‘attitude’ and ‘Men’s Health’ before he established big followings on social media with over 1.3 followers on his Facebook. Haruehun also expresses concerns over the outdated laws in some Asian countries.
“The laws don’t reflect modern values, which are human rights and freedom. I was upset but not surprised to see people in Asia getting arrested for showing their body on the net.”
He travels to several parts of the globe where he feels that freedom of expression is welcome and tolerated. One of the destinations during this life-threatening pandemic is New York City.
“I realise that the pandemic is scary, but the fans of my work need inspiration. We wish to see the world where there is more inclusivity and tolerance. I have recently shot a few Asian American men from different walks of life while staying here in the hope that it will inspires people and lawmakers in Asia to become more open and embrace diversity.”
