Burnout, understaffed, and overworked are words commonly concerning healthcare workers across the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, and other regions. In the U.S., the CDC reported that nearly half of healthcare workers often felt burned out in 2022; the Government of Canada found healthcare workers have been challenged like never before, leading to unprecedented levels of burnout, absences, and turnover; and the World Health Organization highlights how health and care worker anxiety, depression, and burnout is a crisis in the WHO European Region.
The bottom line is that, overall, professionals working in healthcare are facing the effects of ongoing staff shortages, low pay, poor working conditions, stressful environments, and so on—all things that also impact their lives outside of work, including sleep, relationships, and overall well-being. The reality is, a lack of a healthy workforce directly affects the health and well-being of communities.
What is the solution if not enough is being done for healthcare professionals?
That’s where Dr. & Master Zhi Gang Sha, Dr. Rulin Xiu, and Dr. Peter Hudoba come in with a shared mission to empower healthcare professionals, scientists, and researchers to make time for their own self-care.
These three inspiring individuals came together to create an in-person and virtual conference to address this global issue. The conference, Tao Technology of Healing, will be held on November 30 and December 1, 2024, from 10 am to 8 pm ET, at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Canada.
“This silent healthcare crisis underscores the urgent need for providers to prioritize self-care. By incorporating daily self-care strategies, healthcare professionals can better care for themselves and their patients,” the conference website states.
What can healthcare professionals expect from the conference?
“As part of the conference, participants will not only learn about Tao Technologies but be taken deeper into the science and research that supports these powerful self-care tools (Tao Calligraphy specifically),” explains the website. Healing the Healer will introduce these Tao Technologies and allow participants to immerse in the healing frequency of Tao Calligraphy.
This transformative two-day conference is led by the esteemed world-renowned healer, Tao Grandmaster, and Founder of Tao Technologies, Tao Calligraphy, and Tao Science, Dr. & Master Sha, quantum physicist, string theorist, and co-founder of Tao Science, Dr. Xiu, and Tao researcher Dr. Hudoba—along with other speakers.
By bridging the gap between science and spirituality, the speakers aim to help healthcare workers turn burnout and stress into rejuvenation, health, and wellness with transformational quantum information systems, including Tao Calligraphy. Not to mention, learning, experiencing, and practicing powerful quantum techniques to manifest and transform their lives with greater health, wellness, and success.
And it’s all thanks to the 3 key speakers:
Dr. & Master Sha
Dr. & Master Sha is the sole lineage holder of the Yi Bi Zi tradition, a rare style of Chinese calligraphy he learned from its only living exponent, Prof. Li Qiuyun when she was over 100 years old. “The style is named Yi Bi Zi, which means ‘one-stroke characters.’ In this oneness writing, the brush never leaves the paper or parchment,” he explains. This past August, he showcased his transformative calligraphy at an exclusive exhibition at the Donna Child Fine Art Gallery.
“As I write calligraphy in the Yi Bi Zi style, I connect with Tao, the Ultimate Source and Creator,” he continues. “Tao Source pours its positive information and energy, high frequency and vibration—along with its greatest love and light—into the path of my writing. That calligraphy then becomes Tao Calligraphy—art beyond art that has the power to heal and transform.” This can also be experienced through his Tao Light Manifestation program.
As a healthcare professional, however, you may be wondering, ‘How can Tao Calligraphy art aid my self-care to manage stress, anxiety, and burnout?’
“As part of the Healing the Healer Conference, Master Sha will lead participants through the powerful practice of Tao Calligraphy, offering tools to recharge, reconnect, and reclaim their health. His vision is to help you unlock multi-dimensional vibrational fields and experience the profound transformation that occurs when ancient wisdom meets modern science,” the website shares.
As a globally recognized spiritual teacher, transformative leader, and artist dedicated to helping others transform their lives, Dr. & Master Sha utilizes his rare, powerful art form to promote deep personal and professional renewal. This is achieved through his collaboration with Dr. Xiu.
Dr. Xiu

Blending spirituality and science, Dr. & Master Sha co-founded Tao Science alongside theoretical physicist Dr. Xiu, who earned her Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, and later founded the Hawaii Theoretical Physics Research Center after completing her academic work at the Houston Advanced Research Center and Harvard University. Since 2017, she has taught classes, workshops, and retreats at Tao Academy.
In this conference, she will share insights into the quantum mechanisms underlying life and health and the role they play in promoting well-being. Her research “reveals that positive information within one’s quantum field, characterized by connection, order, and harmony, enhances life and health,” while negative information (disconnection, disorder, disharmony) can contribute to illness and other challenges.
When it comes to healthcare professionals, research indicates they are constantly exposed to this negative information and need increased self-care.
Together, Dr. & Master Sha and Dr. Xiu developed a holistic approach that empowers healthcare workers to manage stress, burnout, and physical challenges—all while addressing the root causes of disease—an approach further supported by Dr. Hudoba who has been the lead researcher of Sha Research Foundation for 24 years.
Dr. Hudoba

Dr. Hudoba is a medical doctor, now specializing in spine pain management at his private practice in Greater Vancouver, B.C. He conducted pioneering research in the field of Neuroscience at McMasters University and was a staff neurosurgeon at Royal University Hospital.
Dr. Hudoba later shifted his career to alternative healing methods, and spent many years advancing integrative medicine, specifically highlighting how crucial it is for individuals to align the body’s natural energy flow while prioritizing holistic practices of the mind, body, and spirit to support overall well-being—aspects he will share during the conference to help healthcare workers manage stress and burnout.
Additionally, Dr. Hudoba will highlight the importance of nurturing the body’s natural capacities to foster resilience, balance, and well-being.
For all the care and dedication healthcare workers devote to their patients, it’s time they receive the same treatment in return.
If you’re a healthcare professional dealing with the very real effects of burnout, Dr. & Master Sha, Dr. Rulin Xiu, and Dr. Peter Hudoba encourage you to prioritize yourself and join them at the “Tao Technology of Healing” Conference.
