Single? How to spend a day of self-love on Valentine’s

Being single on Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be the sad mope fest that movies make it out to be. If you don’t have a significant other to spend February 14th with, that doesn’t mean you can’t have a day full of love. Hop on the wellness wagon because this year’s Valentines Day is all about self-love! Who needs a partner when you’re fully capable of reaching happiness and satisfaction through a refreshing day of rejuvenation.

Get Dressed and Dolled Up
If you’re a man, get yourself groomed up and looking dapper in your favorite get-up. If you’re a woman, then give yourself a makeover and wear your favorite dress or pantsuit. If you’re somewhere in between, do whatever makes amps up your confidence level. Look good and feel great.

Take Yourself Out on a Date
No date? No problem. After you’re all dressed up and ready to go, flaunt your new look with a day or night out. Watch your favorite movie, go shopping or spend some downtime at a cafe. If you’re looking for love, who knows? Someone might be too wherever you’re going. But even if you end up going home alone, just remember that’s it’s all about you and feeling good about yourself.

Cook Your Favorite Meal
If you’re someone who loves to cook then you know how therapeutic and rewarding this can be. Whip out your cooking tools and some fresh ingredients to make your favorite food from scratch! Who says only couples get to enjoy a sumptuous dinner? After all, dinner for one means more for you.
