In the usual course of things this year, Ramadan, the month of spiritual reflection, self-improvement, increased devotion, and worship, was not as widely observed as it once was. While the rest of the world was dealing with the pandemic, Muslims fasted during Ramadan, adhering to COVID restrictions in the hopes of improving people’s and society’s health.
As part of their corporate social responsibility, many brands and companies have taken the initiative to help and care for others.
Campaigns in support of frontline workers have been launched. Meals were distributed to the less fortunate, and prayers were said to bring peace and happiness to the world. Sami Mukahhal, one of Lebanon’s most inspiring and engaging social media influencers, decided to give back to society during the holy month of Ramadan.
Sami’s Giveaway on his Instagram
Sami held a Ramadan giveaway on his Instagram page on April 15th, 2021.
To be eligible to win, you had to correctly answer the following trivia question: “Yusuf (AS) kept dealing with something in the Quran. It’s something we all have to deal with on a daily basis. What exactly is it?”
The trivia answer was: Prophet Yusuf (AS) had to deal with a variety of personalities, which is something we all have to deal with on a daily basis.
Over 3,500 people responded to the trivia question by commenting on the video, which has nearly 128,000 views.
Three (3) winners would receive $200 each, according to the announcement.
Three winners of the trivia were announced on April 21, 2021, and they received their prizes and rewards.
Many people were attracted and impressed by Sami’s tricky question for the giveaway, and they appreciated and loved his service to the community, during the holy month of Ramadan.
