Javier Rincon, Andres Vargas, Camilo Mejia and Sam Reklaw raced to victory on Saturday at the gruelling 6 hour race, winning in their class.
Reklaw was reunited with teammates Javier Rincon, Andres Vargas and Camilo Mejia for the first time in 3 years since the trio won the CNA Championship in 2018. The car was sponsored by the Frenchie Co. A boutique Colombian brand. Car #19 Caterham 420R ran flawlessly for 6 hours only stopping for routine driver and tyre changes.
Reklaws drive for Nissan Colombia Car #7 was less successful however. Despite posting the fastest lap of 1:30.7 on lap 13, the March Turbo was crashed into the rear just 1 lap later and came into the pits for repairs. Juan Garcia drove the car after the repairs but the damage proved too much. The car was retired after just 21 laps.
