What do you get when a glamorous actress and a makeup artist to the stars cross paths? One hell of a beauty profile. This is exactly the case for Pati Dubroff and her string of famed clients including Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron and most notably, Margot Robbie.
That’s right, Robbie’s stunning looks were created by Dubroff who is also an ambassador for Chanel’s high-end beauty line. But even before the makeup artist became a regular in the Birds of Prey star’s glam team, she has made a name for herself in the entertainment and beauty industry. And their team-up has brought us some pretty iconic looks.
Green Glittering Lids
Reading this out loud, it’s easy to imagine a trainwreck attempt to revive an 80’s beauty trend. In the wrong hands, it may have well been. But because this is Dubroff we’re talking about, the end result of the look is nothing short of amazing and Robbie pulled it off effortlessly. A light flush on the cheeks, a tint of pink on the lips and well-defined brows complemented the bold eye look nicely.
Monochrome Orange Makeup
Who would ever forget when Robbie stepped out of a “Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood” premiere in the loveliest take of the monochrome makeup look? We know we wouldn’t. Dubroff made sure that her client would leave jaws ajar with a smoked out terracotta eye look and the same hue on the lips to match.
Heavy Black Eyeliner
Nothing says edgy the way a jet black eyeliner does. In the look above, Dubroff gave Robbie a classic rock star look with heavily lined eyes. A subtle wash of nude color for the rest of the face provided a stark contrast to go against the dark liner. Forget about raccoon eyes, because this is how it’s done.
