Blankenship is from Norman, Oklahoma. After graduating college from Ohio University, he signed briefly with the Jacksonville Jaguars. After his football career came to an end, he was searching for something to replace the void. Having always been interested in real estate, he decided to pursue it as a full-time career.
For the first few years, Blankenship worked at a boutique brokerage firm. Blankenship searched to broaden his horizons and found an opportunity to acquire the local Engel and Völkers franchise. Since 2017, he’s added 5 agents to his team, and in 2019, the Wall Street Journal ranked him as #70 in the country and #11 in Florida with a record-breaking year in sales.
“I feel extremely blessed and grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given. I love the Lord and do everything I possibly can with what I’m given,” says Blankenship.
What’s your key to success?
Beau Blankenship: I believe what’s helped me most was being a former athlete. The discipline I learned training as an athlete helps me perform best for my clients. Some of the qualities that my clients appreciate are originality, enthusiasm, leadership, and die-hard dedication. I’m confident I can provide the best service for all my clients.
I was raised in the small town of Norman, Oklahoma, where I learned the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships. I’ve carried that over into my business, as I actively listen to my client’s needs and wishes, and I do my best to help them meet those needs. My policy is an open-door policy. My goal is to make everyone I come in contact with comfortable, and I do that by being responsive, transparent, providing a personalized experience to each client.
Why did you pick Santa Rosa Beach in Florida?
Beau Blankenship: I’ve had the amazing privilege of enjoying the unique, eclectic lifestyle of the 30A scenic highway for over 16 years. My family vacationed here year after year, and it is actually mine and my wife’s favorite vacation spot. So knowing the area’s potential, I have always pushed for increased awareness for this area. Plus, I’m super passionate about placing your hard-earned money in smart investments where it counts and where it can thrive. My passion for Real Estate has only increased over the years, and I hope it continues to grow. After finishing my professional football career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, I now own Engel & Volkers franchise in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
