Lauren was able to answer a few questions we had about her career as a Psychic Medium and her strategies and approach to spiritual work.
Hi Lauren, what motivated you to pursue a career as an endorsed psychic medium? Did you experience a crucible moment, or did you always know?
As a young girl, I knew I was different and could see the spiritual world with my left eye and the physical world with my right eye after being diagnosed with permanent double vision. I began speaking to God in church at the age of eight years old, and by high school, I was naturally able to read others as a psychic and medium. I suppressed my abilities throughout my life because my family did not believe me. When I married my first husband, I was not allowed to discuss my gifts to know when something was going to happen or heard from a loved one in the spiritual world. It wasn’t’ until my father passed away and filed for a divorce that I felt pushed by spirit to pursue my path of helping others as a Reiki Master Teacher and use my natural abilities as a psychic and medium to deliver healing messages during sessions.
How does a person become a qualified spiritual teacher, healer or psychic medium? How was your experience with this process?
In my opinion, qualifications mean many things. Naturally gifted individuals like myself do not require formal training to learn what they already know, and to me, that is a qualification in itself. Because I needed to heal others in their lives, I trained in Reiki and became a Reiki Master Teacher to receive a certification of training. I enrolled in psychic, medium, and angel classes only to test my abilities and receive feedback from mentors before offering my services professionally. I have had many past lives. Once I perfected my gifts and understood and remembered them better, I began teaching my own methods as a spiritual teacher, based on my infinite knowledge before this lifetime and new information I gained in this time on earth. My mission in my work is to help those with their life purpose, heal grieving clients who lost a loved one in spirit, and teach individuals to safely and properly connect to the other side through prayer in my books and classes.
In your opinion, what is the best part of being a psychic medium and mentor?
To experience the joy on the client’s face or in their voice when I have validated information for them about their life or connected to a loved one in spirit they longed to hear from during a session. Because my office, phone, and online sessions are cold style, the client is asked never to provide any details to me in advance. As a teacher, mentor, and author, when I see a client wipe away a tear on their face when they learned how to make contact with their loved ones in spirit in my Until We Meet Again Medium Class or learned who they were after reading my book Who Are You? Are You a Psychic, Medium, or Other Spiritual Worker?
Tell us about your book Who Are You? Why did you write it and what is it about?
I had a desire to write a book to share how I receive messages from the spiritual world to help others who are naturally gifted to discover who they are. The book Who Are You? Are You a Psychic, Medium, or Other Spiritual Worker? is a “class in a book” because it gets to the point of what readers need to know so they can take the appropriate training if they choose to help others with their gifts. The book offers a brief overview of my life, how I receive information from the spiritual world and provides the reader with exercises to test their gifts. I also offer a way for the reader to contact me for private or group evaluation testing. The book is a pre-requisite to enrolling in any of my classes as a spiritual worker. How do your services work, and have you been forced to make changes because of COVID-19?
Potential clients can contact me through my website at www.lauren-bortolami.com or call my office at 508-339-8111 to request a session or spiritual training class. Once a service is requested, I review the client’s needs and book it in my office, over the phone, or through online video conferencing. When COVID-19 started, I began offering online video sessions and classes as well as discounted and free audios, Reiki healing for COVID-19 symptoms or depression, and more to help people heal and cope with the pandemic.
In your view, what are the benefits of seeking spiritual guidance from you in the form of a session or class?
I love who I am and what I bring to my clients with personalized services unique and tailored to each client’s needs. I pride myself on personally getting to know each client who comes to me for a session, class, or event. I never want my clients to feel like a ticket sale or not be able to ask me a question for closure after the entertainment is over. My goal is to form relationships of trust and hopefully help as many people as I can as a psychic medium, healer, and teacher until I’m gone. I have completed my spiritual path in this lifetime.
