Jay P Bangz has some of the biggest hits to come out the West Coast recently. His breakout track “Sleep Walkin” with Mozzy made it to the big screen for Marvel’s Black Panther.
Jay P Bangz has also done work with YG , Blxst, SOB x RBE, Nef The Pharaoh, Lil Yee, BpTheOfficial, Prezi, & many more . Jay P Bangz signature is definitely his soulful synths backed up by hard hitting funky bass lines. A self motivated individual that takes his music producing talents to another level.
Jay P Bangz started making beats when he was 17 years of age, from a small city called “Bakersfield” in California. He was introduced to music by a man named “Chris Tolbert”, which was a staff member at a group home.
Since then Jay P Bangz was been inspired and everyday after high school he would walk to the guitar center and play around with the keyboards until the business day of operation closed.
He spent day and night trying to come up with the money to buy a computer/speakers/MIDI board to start the process of bringing his dream to life. Fruity loops studio was the program he started using to learn the basic and to create his music. At the time Jay P Bangz made 160 beats and posted them on YouTube in the year of 2016. At that very moment a great group of musicians seen his talent and to wanted help to expand his career.
Then In 2017 DaveO which managed Mozzy contacted him to work together. Since then Jay P Bangz has continued to work with artist from LA to the Bay Area, his name has become one of the biggest music producers to stand out. It may sound familiar with his tag saying “this is Jay P bangz” at the beginning of every instrumental/record.
Jay P Bangz has come a long way staying consistent with his work ethic. Some of the songs you may have heard are called “perfect timing” by Mozzy/YG/Blxst. “bompton to oak park” by Mozzy (feat. yg ) “high and low”by Capolow. “gang gang” by Kamaiyah (feat. Capolow & MrLaRj . Those are just a few of records.
He always travels to Los Angeles and Bay Area keeping his work spreading across the west coast. Jay P Bangz as of 2021 has a bunch of songs coming out with artists all over the world. Stay tuned for what he has coming up in the near future.
