Beyoncé doesn’t need to walk the red carpet to make a fashion statement at the Golden Globes. The pop music icon chose to skip the traditional photo ops for the 77th Golden Globe Awards held in Los Angeles. She went straight into the venue with her husband Jay-Z without missing a beat.
But even without all that attention from the paparazzi, the “Lemonade” hitmaker still made rounds with her evening gown. Beyoncé wore a gown from Schiaparelli Haute Couture exclusively designed by the fashion label’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry. See the stunner with her husband posing for a photo below:
The star certainly knows how to bring on the drama in everything she wears. Her Golden Globes gown is no different. The custom black slip dress was made from silk crepe and featured the most striking structured gold sleeves from a woven mesh. The floor-length dress also had a train at the back. Beyoncé kept it classy with a pair of black sandals peeking underneath her gown.
Queen Bey’s latest look diverted from the past outfits she wore at red carpet events that are usually studded and all blinged out. This ensemble is a little more toned down, although she still opted for blinding 250-carat diamond earrings. The jewelry pieces were custom made by Lorraine Schwartz.
On the other hand, Bey’s date and billionaire spouse wore a head-to-toe Windsor tuxedo ensemble from Tom Ford. He paired these with classic patent leather shoes. Jay-Z was there to support his wife with her Golden Globes nod for the Best Original Song category.
