After several years of being staged in Nashville, Tennessee, the 57th edition of the fan-voted music awards are just hours away to kick-off at Moody Center in Austin, Texas, with a promise to deliver an unforgettable night with a star-studded performers’ line-up. Hosted by country music stars Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown will host the 2022 CMT Music Awards ceremony; the 2023 CMT Music Awards will merge country, rock, and blues.

Carrie Underwood, who won Collaborative Video of the Year in 2022 on “If I Didn’t Love You”, has a chance to extend her record as the most awarded artist in CMT music award history as she has been nominated again for video of the year for “Hate My Heart.”
A tribute performance will be honored to Lynyrd Skynyrd following the death of the last original member, Gary Rossington. Moreover, a tribute performance will be given to the late Texas guitarist Vaughn by four-time Grammy winner Clark Jr.
