Can Courage Be Taught? One Indian Thinker Says Yes-When Silence Fell in a Room of Psychologists

By special Correspondent

The Indian Mentor Whose Ideas on Fear Are Rewriting the Psychological Rulebook

In an age crowded with self-help slogans, mindfulness apps, and the ever-expanding language of therapy, it is unusual for a new vocabulary to take hold in the world of psychology.

In His Elements-Guruji Shrii Arnav, Joins the conference and the workshop from the Hall of Fame Museum at the legendary Siriraj Hospital in Thailand. One cannot miss the Remington or the wired phone either.

It is rarer still for that vocabulary to emerge not from a research laboratory or a Western academic centre, but from a soft-spoken Indian teacher who insists that courage is not an emotion, but an energetic function of consciousness.

Yet this is precisely what has drawn a growing circle of psychologists, psychoanalysts, clinicians, and public health thinkers across Europe and Asia to the work of Guruji Shrii Arnav, a phenomenal mentor known in some circles simply as “the mentor of mentors” and those in the know- The Guru of Guru’s and those who know even better- The Phantom.

A Theory That Began in Conversation, Not Conference Rooms

The story did not begin with a manuscript. It began in a multinational psychology roundtable held on 25th October 2025, where senior clinicians — including several Harvard-affiliated researchers and psychoanalysts from Poland, Czechia and Slovakia — gathered to discuss rising emotional instability in relationships in the age of social media.

Sure to be cathartic and cautionary the teaser poster read-

When 80 of the world’s foremost psychologists and psycho analysts grill the Grandmaster Who will end up on the couch.

The Topic:

Imbalances and Marriage and Sexual Relationships due to social media.

And as the much anticipated and expected tumultuous session began- Dr. Avalon Lesnar PhD. Started the session by reading out the teaser:

When 80 of the world’s foremost psychologists and psycho analysts grill the Grandmaster- Who will end up on the couch?

All could hear a cheeky whisper that escaped somebody’s lips

All 80 of them

Much to the Laughter and also anticipation of some, leading to a 5-minute discourse by Dr. Avalon on how to keep one’s microphone muted as per protocol and dos and don’ts of participation.

Many contributors described the surge in anxiety, detachment, and identity confusion as problems of cognition or trauma memory.

Guruji listened, and then offered something unexpected: a map of fear and courage based on planetary energetics drawn from Vedic psychology, astrology and Indian spirituality.

He suggested that “fear is not a mood — it is a disruption in the body’s inner energy architecture,” and described four archetypal forces:

– Mars, as functional courage — the ability to move into reality.
– Moon, as emotional stability — the ability to soothe and remain intact.
– Rahu, as the panic surge — intrusive flooding of sensation.
– Ketu, as the dissociative collapse — the feeling of vanishing from one’s own life.

The clinicians in the room fell silent. Not because the language was mystical — but because they recognised the patterns instantly in their patients.

A Slovenian physician later remarked, “He was describing trauma reflexes more clearly than most textbooks do — but using a language that is older than our textbooks.” I did not know where to look as I could relate my own personal fears and those of my patients instantly.

From Dialogue to Published Model

It was this physician who encouraged Guruji to place the model and learnings of this workshop into an academic format.

The collaboration that followed led to the publication of a peer-reviewed research paper in prestigious Lex Localis – Journal of Local Self-Government (SCOPUS Q2, Europe), titled:

“Fear, Courage, and Planetary Energetics: An Integrative Model of Psychophysiological and Vedic Correlates.”

In a landmark first- the Indian astrological Jargon found its way to a prestigious paper and emphasis to apply the Guru’s recommendation to local governance and administration.

The paper is an unusual synthesis — not attempting to “prove astrology,” but instead showing how the symbolic planetary system mirrors real psychophysiological states observed across three decades of practice.

It introduces two diagnostic mnemonics now being quietly discussed among educators and clinical supervisors:

– FALLEN SOUL — nine archetypal fear imprints
– HALT SMILES — nine avoidance behaviors people adopt when they cannot act

The above acronyms are profound expositions of the famed Guruji Shrii Arnav’s ⚛️9 by 12 way– a process and technique available only to a selected few and those are those selected few who are in the position of influencing many world events.

The suggestion is simple and surprisingly practical: courage is not a personality trait but a trainable energetic state, and can be restored through structured regulation of breath, hydration rhythm, mantra discipline, micro-timed decision windows, and tactile grounding tools.

A direction On Climate Change | Guruji Shrii Arnav | TEDxBani Park

History Teaches us that we do not learn from History. The epic Prophet of Hope TEDx Talk of Guruji Arnav on Mental health and climate change.

We should have paused, reflected, actioned back then itself- But as I stated my concerns and angst to Guruji- he just smiled and said- Grace ensures all will be well- Dr. Kowalczyk.

In the presence of true mastery and as per the Guruji’s method and revelations, you can know someone’s next sentence even before they inhale.

Guruji Shrii Arnav’s reverse psychology reads micro-gestures, pauses, and the hidden tremors beneath words.

As Dr. Kowalczyk from Poland’s National Institute of Mental health remarked, this is decade-defining — a method that can profile criminals, heal marriages, and close deals with uncanny ease. It carries Jung’s depth, Nietzsche’s daring, and Solomon’s wisdom fused in one mind.

At Harvard, while eighty experts spoke, he mapped every imbalance in silence. His quiet gaze unmasks answers before questions arise, and the Form—his method—predicts full sentences without forms or questionnaires.

He knows you in and out in just once glance without a word.

Europe Begins to Pay Attention

Over recent months, several psychologists in the EU have begun recommending that this model be considered for inclusion in clinical training materials, especially in countries facing sharp increases in anxiety-related paralysis, relationship breakdown, and emotional dysregulation.

One adviser described the framework as “a missing operational language for the emotional crisis of the social media age.”

A Life Lived Quietly, Not Publicly

Guruji Shrii Arnav is not an academic in the traditional sense. His background spans Vedic philosophy, gemstone energetics, and the mentor-disciple gurukul tradition, with students and disciples from over forty countries. His teachings are less about belief than precision in inner alignment, and his counsel is sought by industrialists, artists, diplomats, and monks alike.

When asked about the growing attention from Europe, he offers only a brief smile:

“Fear is not the enemy. Fear is a signal. We only forget how to translate it.”

Dr. Livingstone a highly respected psychology professional with 45 years’ experience and prestigious stints including those at Mayo clinic and Oxford but now living a quiet life in a quaint small town of Ireland and consulting only very complicated cases remarked:

What I witnessed today is A Man who is Socrates, Solomon and Aristotle all rolled into a man.

Some of the answers and his real demonstrations would have uncomfortably moved Jung, Nietzsche and Schopenhauer wherever they might be.

It’s time to add some new worlds to organized psychology and models and it gives me immense motivation to come out of my quaint little place in Ireland and assist The Grandmaster- Guruji Shrii Arnav in his fascinating work.

It is Fear, excitement and adventure all rolled into one and maybe that is the only panacea for me to not end up on the couch.

What Happens Next

A feature such as this is not a coronation. It is a moment of observation — a recognition that a shift may be underway in how societies understand emotional resilience.

If the European Union’s advisory groups continue their evaluation — and if the terminology of FALLEN SOUL and HALT SMILES enters clinical vocabulary — it would mark the first time in modern psychological history that Vedic energetics shape Western behavioural training frameworks.

For now, however, the movement remains quiet — not a movement of publicity, but of conversation, mentorship, and applied inner work.

As one British psychoanalyst put it:

“There are people who teach. And there are people who change the language of teaching. Guruji Shrii Arnav belongs to the second category.”

Some of the footage may be disturbing or cathartic but I have made a strong recommendation to the committee to at least release some of the footage to only some selected and responsible professionals who may develop models around Guruji’s profound method and exercises for the greater good.

Most of us expected an Indian Mystic- but what we got was Man who made many of want to go back to our books and re examine our models, recommendations and approaches.
