“There are few things more depressing than waking up in the morning, looking at yourself in the mirror, and realizing that you have lost no weight.” That is how Ben Azadi starts one of his podcast episodes. As a formerly obese man, Azadi understands how frustrating and overwhelming it can be wanting to get better and not knowing where to start. It’s not just an aesthetic issue —Azadi says obesity has serious physical effects on your body, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. Obesity also impacts mental health because it affects how you feel about yourself, which can lead to depression or anxiety. With that knowledge, Azadi has made it his mission to help people take charge of their health and build healthy metabolisms so they can stop surviving and start thriving, as he did.
Azadi’s journey to a healthier and more fulfilling life began with pain after struggling with obesity for 24 years. Over this period, he had tried everything he could to lose the excess weight and become healthier, but he kept failing. As a result, Azadi hit rock bottom and became depressed and suicidal. In 2008, he went through a personal health transformation of shredding 80 pounds of pure fat and realized he could achieve any fitness goal if he put his mind to it. When he lost his father to type 2 diabetes complications, Azadi embarked on a journey to empower himself and gained ancient knowledge that helped him improve his health. In November 2018, he founded Keto Kamp, a worldwide brand using technology to educate the world on ancient healing strategies such as the keto diet and intermittent fasting.
Three years since the company launched, Azadi and his team have achieved tremendous success and helped transform thousands of lives. The “Keto Kamp” podcast recently won the Keto Podcast of the Year in 2022 via the Metabolic Health Summit and Ketogenic.com. Azadi and his team have achieved similar success on other platforms, such as YouTube, where the brand boasts 138K+ subscribers, and TikTok, where it has 30M plus downloads to date. Azadi is also the author of 4 bestselling books on Amazon. Before starting his YouTube channel, Azadi was a personal trainer and owned a CrossFit gym, where he helped countless clients achieve their fitness goals through mixed strategies.
“We’re on a mission to help 1 billion people with insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, autoimmune disease, brain fog, leaky gut, and other metabolic disorders move from a life of fear, overwhelm, and defeat… to a life of education, empowerment, and confidence,” declares the Keto Kamp team.
Thorough research and innovation are two pillars that have helped Keto Kamp to do that. Azadi adds that his team does not believe in hyped-up claims, weight loss gimmicks, or irresponsible business practices. Instead, Keto Kamp offers science-based, simple solutions—a sensible, evidence-based approach that helps people make actionable progress toward improving their health and cell metabolism.
Helping clients achieve holistic health is Azadi and his team’s goal, which is why he emphasizes mindset change. “If you become aware of your thoughts, you can change things for the better,” he says. Azadi’s goal is to scale further, become a household name in the health space, and help transform more lives through sustainable health practices.
