The USA will look to become the first team in over two decades to win back-to-back championships. Team USA narrowly edged Canada in the gold medal match during the 2018 championships held in Netanya, Israel. Both teams had their moments but it was Tom Schreiber’s strike in the dying seconds of the game which proved to be a difference in the end. The USA won that competition by a score of 9-8 to become the world champions for the record 10th time.
